A WORD ABOUT OUR PASTOR
Rev. Anthony L. Oliphant, Sr., is a native of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and has been preaching and teaching the gospel since 1996. In 2007, Pastor Oliphant founded Abiding Faith Fellowship Church. Today, he works diligently in the service of the Lord with his lovely wife, Co-Pastor Stephanie Oliphant and together they pastor one of the most progressive churches in the city of Milwaukee.
Pastor Oliphant is an energetic preacher who preaches the love of God and the gospel of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. As one of the most innovative preachers of this millennium, he is committed to educating and empowering his congregation to walk in their Godly authority.
Pastor Oliphant has numerous theological degrees from Agape Bible College of Theology, Moody Bible College, Grace Theological Institute, Milwaukee Theological Institute and Dr. Melvin Gray’s School of Pastoral Studies. Throughout his ministry, Pastor Oliphant has engaged in life-long learning and earned certifications in various studies and classes.
Under God’s direction and Pastor Oliphant’s visionary leadership, Abiding Faith Fellowship Church has instituted a Wednesday Night Live service which ministers to the community as an evening worship service. He instituted a City-Wide Men’s Fellowship Ministry with weekly sessions at Abiding Faith Fellowship Church. Pastor Oliphant created the Relationship Initiative Series focusing on marriage and relationship seminars for couples and conducted numerous individual and marital counseling sessions. His global vision includes the expansion of ever-increasing ministries within the church while continuing to meet the various social and economic needs of the community.
Pastor Oliphant is committed to the cultivation of Christian growth and mentors young ministers in developing their God-given talents. He also currently serves in the following capacities in the community: member of the Milwaukee Marriage Partnership – Faith Partners and Common Ground Ministries, the Sherman Park Neighborhood Association and the YMCA of Wisconsin mentoring program.
Pastor Oliphant’s ministry is an exuberant demonstration of his intense praise and faithful dedication to God. He is a passionate leader with a mission to spread the gospel and make a difference in the lives of others. He is also a loving husband and a devoted father.
